Investment loans for nurses

Whether it's your first investment or your next one, the right loan structure can make a big difference to your cash flow and how fast you can grow.

  • Use equity in your home towards a deposit
  • Loan structures that suit rostered income
  • 40+ lenders compared for investor rates and policies

Start with what you can borrow

Lenders treat investment loans differently from home loans. Rental income, existing debts and your shift pay all affect what you can borrow.

I'll work out your real borrowing power before you start looking, so you know your budget.

Structure matters

Interest-only or principal and interest, offset accounts, separate splits. I'll explain the options in plain English. For tax advice, talk to your accountant.

Plan your next property

Answer four quick questions. I'll look at what lenders will do with your shift pay and get back to you with guidance for your situation.

Common questions

Can I use equity in my home?

Often yes. If your home has grown in value or you've paid down the loan, you may be able to use that equity towards an investment deposit.

Does rental income help my borrowing?

Lenders usually count part of the expected rent. How much depends on the lender.

Do you give tax or investment advice?

No. I help with the loan. Talk to an accountant or financial adviser about tax and which property to buy.
